Welcome to the Gilson JCC Early Learning Center, Sharon!

The Gilson ELC built in 2009 is a state-of-the-art facility with a wonderful “natural” playground and a large gross motor activity space. The Gilson ELC teachers are top notch – more than 97% of our educators have college or masters degrees, most in education, with an average tenure of more than 12 years. Weekly sessions with our music specialist and a wide variety of enrichment classes offer children access to a broad range of activities and interactions with peers and adults. Parents’ involvement in building our community and volunteering in classrooms is welcomed and valued. The Gilson JCC ELC is accredited by NAEYC and Magen HaGan - Bureau of Jewish Education.

Gilson Early Learning Center The Gilson JCC ELC K’ton Summer Program is available for children between the ages of 18mo to 5 years of age Our summer program provides children with multiple outdoor experiences in mini-sports, arts/crafts, wading pools and exciting weekly themes and special program guests.

•	Full week and part week programs Toddlers, PALS and 3's

•	Full Year and school year programs
•	Working parent hours (early drop-off 7:30am, late pick-up 6:00pm)
•	Optional afternoon enrichment classes, school vacation, and secular holiday programing available

Lisa Aframe has been with the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston for 26 years as an early childhood educator. Presently, Lisa is the Director of the JCC Early Learning Center. Lisa holds a BS Ed. from Lesley College and a MEd. in Child Development and Emerging Literacy from Wheelock College. Lisa's mission is to provide excellence in Early Childhood Education for young children and their families. Lisa is committed to providing educators with top notch staff development, rich parent education opportunities, and the best materials, resources and environments for children's learning.
